I am crochetig a baby afghan. It is in a hexagonal shape with many small (2row) bi colored flowers making up?

the afghan. I am confused about the directions. I made the first motif (lavender and white) and am ready to make a new one. I do not know if you are supposed to make all of them seperately and whip stitch them when you have all the motifs done, or are you supposed to start a new piece attached to the first one. It has directions for one, two, and three sides joining. Do you have to do it that way and is it up to you to decide if you want to use one two or three side joining or is it dependent upon which part of the motif you are working on? Help if you can-thanks ~Steph

If so, you can click the link to %26quot;Flat braid method in (click here)%26quot; to see how to join them. It will take you here:

And, click the link to %26quot;in a hexagon (click here)%26quot; to see in what order to join them. It will take you here:

That link also shows you when to attach the motifs on one, two or three sides when joining them together.

You can make all the motifs then join them, or join them as you make them. It%26#039;s up to you, and the results would be the same.

Even if that%26#039;s not the exact afghan, from your description of the one you%26#039;re making, the method of joining the motifs in that one should work for yours.
Reply:can u include the name of the aphgan??It depends on which part of the motif u are working on. Y can make strips, join-as-u-go, whatever. Name the aphgan and pattern book and I can help. Is it the one with little white stars between the hex%26#039;s??
