My friend just gave birth and I would like to bring something when I go over to see the baby. I was thinking about flowers, but I am wondering if there are concerns with allergies or making the baby sick. I don%26#039;t want to mak a major faux pas on my first time meeting the little guy! Thanks!
Are flowers ok for a newborn?
I got loads of flowers and they did nothing to the baby. But you can go a little different... I got a chocolate bouquet from one friend, containing loads of chocolates (obviously), a mug with a cigar for the daddy, some perfume and a watch for mommy and a big blue teddy bear for baby (pink if it%26#039;s a girl). He bought it at a florist, so you may want to check into that. He spent a little extra money, but I%26#039;m sure they make different kinds. It%26#039;s a little different and I liked it more than the bunch of flowers, plus we all got to keep something from the hamper.
Reply:I%26#039;d give something different. See if you can find an edible arrangement or something to snack on. Thats what i would have loved when i was in the hospital after i had my son. Hospital food sucks and the stuff in the cafeteria is expensive.
Reply:I had lots of people bring me flowers and balloons, but it would be super special if you brought a memento, like one of those baby handprint makers.
Reply:well as far as I%26#039;m concerned everyone that Ive known has taken flowers, but to be safe why not a teddy for him an some sort of treat for her.
Reply:just in case i wouldnt bring them. can never be too careful, bring her something yummy instead.
Reply:Bring her a package of newborn diapers
Reply:i wouldent bring then
Reply:i got TONS of flowers in the hospital..its a nice thing to do

does any1 know how to make these ive seen them on tv and would love to have a go!
Flower bouquets made from baby clothes!!?
I have made flower corsages out of baby socks. You fold the socks to make them look like little buds, wire and wrap them and arrange them with some ribbon and whatever else you want to add.

How to take care of baby snails?
My snails are really tiny kinds. They stay in the water though i dunno the breed. The adults are just 1 cm long. their babies just came out not long ago, and i am not sure of how to care for them. they are TINY. 1mm i suppose. the adults eat leaves and flowers. What about the babies?
How to take care of baby snails?
if you leave them alone, you will have about 5,000 of them within 2 months.
the baby snail that was eaten, was probably dead or close to death, snails very rarely attack. they eat anything, and they are hermaphrodites, they can switch their sex, so if two are boys, one can become a girl. they breed very quickly.
i had one snail that grew to be huge, but i also would drop in a few kernals of canned corn or peas when i opened it up. they will eat fish food and algea and dead fish and plants.
Reply:their mummy and daddy will know, then will show them and then u can copy that
Reply:Are they fresh water snails? I%26#039;m guessing you may have pond snails (round), trumpet snails, or rams horn snails. At any rate, they babies will fend for themselves and if the adults eat one or two it won%26#039;t matter too much as they pretty much multiply exponentially.
Adding some additional aquatic plants can help for hiding places for the smaller ones (and provides food). You can also put some zucchini, kale or romaine lettuce in the tank at night for some extra food.
Reply:there going to eat plant%26#039;s. i have about 100 of them, the male and female can both have baby%26#039;s yes the male, so you will have a LOT in a month or so. and a lot of fish will eat them. and the snail that%26#039;s eating them it%26#039;s getting rid of the bad ones.
Reply:Just leave them alone. They will fend for themselves.
And thats just part of nature. It happens. They are snails. They arent very smart;)

Year Old Baby In Wedding??? Cute or Not???
My fiancees neice will be a little over a year old on our wedding day and we love her to death so we would like her in the wedding. The flower girl is 3 and has been in 4 weddings already so she knows what she is doing. Will it be cute to have the flower girl pull the baby in a wagon or something down the aisle. The baby doesn%26#039;t cry very much and her parents are in the wedding so she will be looking at them.
Year Old Baby In Wedding??? Cute or Not???
I think its a really good idea and its cute to if the baby can walk have the 3 year old hold her hand down the aisle and congratulations!!!!
Reply:I personally think it%26#039;s a great idea to have her! So what if she cries, that%26#039;s just what babies do. I also think it%26#039;ll be darling that she%26#039;s in a wagon. It%26#039;s your special day, have whoever you want to share it with you! Best wishes to you, I%26#039;ll be so much fun! :) And just as cute as can be too!
Reply:I was at a wedding where two babies were pulled down the aisle in a wagon, and everything worked out perfectly. Just be prepared to scrap the idea if the baby is not feeling well on your wedding day.
Reply:I think its great to have your niece in the wedding!! My niece will also be just over a year when I am married and I plan on her walking with my 3 and 5 year old sisters as a flower girl!! It will be a great memory for all of you as well. I really don%26#039;t know how it could be tacky to have someone you love in your wedding.
Reply:Babies are unpredictable and things could go either way depending on their mood that day and hour and minute.
Reply:maybe.
but if she cries, it will be a disaster
Reply:If you don%26#039;t mind if she does not perform perfectly and it is important to you I say go for it. I would make sure there is someone she is comfortable with in the front row to grab her if she gets upset.
Reply:That would be cute, as long as you take the baby out right after so that she doesn%26#039;t disrupt the ceremony for you or your guests. I know you said she doesn%26#039;t cry very much, but you never know when babies are going to be irritable.
Reply:I think the unpredictability of a child that young is scary, plus, you%26#039;re really asking alot of her, IMO. I%26#039;m sure it would be a little frightening for her to have all those people staring at her, waiting for her to perform on cue.
Reply:No way.
Reply:No, it won%26#039;t be cute.
Reply:I think the wagon is a very cute idea...just make sure its not some big red wagon...you know decorate it...lol...but the idea is unique and very cute...
Reply:I%26#039;ve only seen this work once. The child was old enough to walk. She went down the aisle in a wagon . . . but once up front, she climbed out of the wagon and walked up to the front row of seats to her grandpa. Grandpa had a supply of snacks on hand and fed them to her throughout the ceremony. She wondered around a bit . . . but was quiet and did not disturb anyone.
Usually, a one-year-old is much too young to participate . . . and usually ends up crying. Just be sure you have someone handy to whisk the child away, if she starts loudly crying.
It is probably kinder to leave a child this age to play with a babysitter in a back room. The child can be dressed up and brought out to be in family photos. Then she can be sent back to babysitter, so her parents can enjoy the reception with you.
Reply:that sounds so cute and very special. I%26#039;m sure the parents of the baby will be honoured that she is in the wedding. I will look so cute and adorable! I think it%26#039;s a good idea and it will work out so well. Maybe have the flowergirl walk the baby down aisle or even the wagon idea sounds good. All sounds so cute.
Reply:that will be adorable!
i have a 2 year old nephew and a 1 month old niece and they were in a wedding as the ring bearer and the %26quot;flower girl%26quot; it was adorable.
Reply:I went to a wedding where the bride had her 2 kids in it.
The baby was just over a year and couldn%26#039;t walk (well). The mom planned to have the baby pulled in a wagon. She wanted her brother%26#039;s baby to also be pulled in the wagon. The baby was under a year and the mom refused for fear the her baby would fall out.
The bride had her son pulled in the (undecorated -- ran out of money %26amp; time) wagon. It looked rediculous! If the child couldn%26#039;t walk, he should have been seated on his grandparents lap! Grandma could have paraded him down the isle on the way to her seat.
Reply:It would be very cute as long as it all works out.
Reply:No, definitely not cute. I%26#039;d say tacky
Reply:The wagon idea is adorable, I think it is really cute give her, her own little basket or flowers to hold, it will help keep her occupied as well. It sounds really cute!
Reply:yeah i think that would be very cute... take a look here

Reply:just decide if a year old baby panicking at being pulled in a wagon and starting to scream and trying to get out of the wagon and possibly falling out of it halfway down the aisle is worth it to ya.
thats your answer.
Reply:It%26#039;s not necessary but it%26#039;s your wedding just do what you like.
Reply:Hmm...you love her, the flower girl is 3....yea it would be cute considering the circumstances. People who say otherwise probably wouldn%26#039;t ever want kids at their wedding, but thats their preference.
Reply:I think it would be adorable. Have fun on your special day
Reply:No. I can see the three year old pushing her down the aisle and tipping her over.

Every time you hear a new born baby cry a flower grows?
Thats why I believe
I hear this song in Church sometimes...Can it mean a new life comes into the world and a long living old person dies...
It does not really happen to see a flower grow
People say you are OK as long as you are above ground and have another chance to be good
What do you think....Moving out of the way for the younger generation...
Every time you hear a new born baby cry a flower grows?
This lyric affirms life%26#039;s value even in the face of death.
Everyone has the chance to evolve on the path to extinction.
Don%26#039;t fret. It is not total annihilation as we all live on, somehow, in those people and accomplishments that we leave behind.
Reply:Nina,
I believe that a baby is the only thing in which the having is better than the wanting.Your family is blessed. Accept my wishes and prayers that you feel better. Thank you. Report It
Reply:There is a poem that is popular in religious circles which discusses the concept of a belief in a higher power because of the miracles of life which we see every day.
However, I don%26#039;t believe that there is a mention of a cause and effect between a baby crying and a flower growing.
The point of the poem is that both activities are miracles of life which induce one to believe.

What color flowers for corsage?
I have a white dress with a little black on it. I was thinking of getting my date a white flower but I want something cool for mine. I am individualistic and love crazy things. Any ideas because prom is Saturday! I was thinking a black flower with some white baby%26#039;s breath and maybe a really bright color ribbon.
